South Africa send army to Eliminate Criminal Gang

It looks like, South Africa government would all out quell criminal gangs. Not half-hearted, the government will send army for the effort. According to Xinhua, military had gone to Cape Town.

“Military will cooperate with special force of the police department. We target one of Lavender Hill region which is vulnerable to gang violence,” said West Cape Town Police spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Andrè Traut.

The disputes gang members is troubling the public. “There’s always someone dead in gunfight among gangs”, said Traut.

Since some months ago, it’s noted 64 people died in the disputes. Peace agreement among these disputes gangs only for some months. “After that, they held war again,” said Traut

Meanwhile, according to officer in Steenberg region community of Cape Town, Kevin Southgate, if violence is not ended, the country could state an emergency condition.
