Trump Calls in Leaking of U.S. Intelligence Briefing Report Details

Leaking of the details of the intelligence briefing was confirmed by a senior U.S. intelligence official. According to NBC News reports, the U.S. intercepts caught the officials from Russia while they were celebrating the victory of Trump in elections that happened recently. While the Russian officials were citing the U.S. officials, the situation made it quite clear that Russia seemed to intervene in the U.S. election.

On Thursday, the new President-elect Donald Trump questioned the motive of NBC News behind disclosing the details of the U.S. intelligence briefing which was exclusively given to the President Barack Obama, on Russian cyber-attacks.

Trump tweeted, “How did NBC get ‘an exclusive look into the top secret report’ he (Obama) was presented? Who gave them this report and why? Politics!

Trump is constantly throwing questions at the intelligence agencies’ concluding report that confirms the hand of Russian operatives behind multiple cyber-attacks, which happened during the U.S. presidential race in 2016. The report further reveals that according to U.S. spy agencies, the emails of Democratic National Committee were stolen and some actors were involved in forwarding those emails to Wikileaks. Trump is supposed to have a meeting with the U.S. intelligence officials today, for a briefing on the evidences reveled by the Russian hacking probe.

In his next consecutive tweets, Trump said, “The Democratic National Committee would not allow the FBI to study or see its computer info after it was supposedly hacked by Russia. So how and why are they so sure about hacking if they never even requested an examination of the computer servers? What is going on?”

In his next conversation, he slammed the U.S. media, “The dishonest media here in the U.S. says that I second the opinion of the Julian Assange, Editor in Chief, Wikileaks. But in the reality, I prefer only to state what he states, not because I am in his agreement but because it is for people and I believe that they must know it and make up their minds for the truth. I am a big fan of the U.S. Intelligence; however, the media pictures it as a lie and try to portray that I am against the Intelligence.”
