US adolescent escaped from Philippine Militia’s confinement

A US adolescent successfully escaped after five months held by militia in Philippine forest. Kevin Eric Lunsmann (14) walked along the river for two days before found by a local villagers.

In his confession to Zamboanga city Mayor, Celso Lobregat, Kevin decided to walked along the riverside by “hope that he will arrive to sea’.

Chief of local Police Department, Edwin de Campo said to AP News Office, that Lunsmann was very tired, hungry, and seemed surprise when he was found. in the beginning, he seemed scared to people who found him and tried to runaway again.
“He (Kevin) was run from his kidnappers two days ago and he was hiding behind the blush when someone found him,” said Roderick Furigay, Mayor of Lamitan City in Basilan to Philippine Daily Inquirer, Monday (12/12/2011).

Nowadays, the adolescent is in Philippine capital city, Manila, and he has already submitted to US Officers. US ambassador in Manila, Harry Thomas said, Kevin will soon meet his family.
